Teaching Experience
Assistant DSA Instructor
Supervisor: Dr. Ashis Kumar Mandal
- Assist in teaching Data Structures and Algorithms to 2nd-year undergraduate students in the Computer Science and Engineering department.
- Focus on problem-solving techniques, algorithm analysis, and optimization strategies.
- Cover fundamental topics including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, sorting algorithms, and search algorithms.
Private Instructor
- Mentored HSC-level students in Higher Math, ICT, and English — building strong conceptual foundations, guiding board-exam and university-admission preparation, and developing analytical problem-solving skills.
- Mentored SSC-level students in Physics, Chemistry, Math, ICT, and English — strengthening fundamentals through concept-based teaching, regular assessments, and personalized one-on-one guidance.
Academic Mentorship
I am passionate about empowering computer science students through comprehensive programming education and mentorship. I focus on building strong foundations in programming, data structures, and algorithms while encouraging students to explore advanced areas like data science and machine learning. My teaching philosophy emphasizes practical problem-solving, hands-on coding experience, and fostering a growth mindset that prepares students for successful careers in technology.
I mentor students from leading Bangladeshi universities including KUET, AIUB, IUT, and SUST, primarily focusing on 2nd- to 4th-year computer science students. My mentorship covers:
- Programming Fundamentals — core programming concepts in C, C++, Java, and Python with emphasis on clean code and debugging.
- Data Structures & Algorithms — in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithmic thinking for complex problems.
- Data Science & Machine Learning — Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), statistical analysis, and ML fundamentals.
- Research Guidance — scientific research methodology, academic writing, research ethics, and publishing.
- Career Development — internships, job preparation, technical interviews, and building strong programming portfolios.
Many of my students have secured competitive internships, research positions, and job opportunities, and I also help students pursue funding and scholarships.
