Hello! This is Md. Bipul Islam — you can call me Bipul.
I am currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur, Bangladesh (expected July 2026), working under the supervision of Dr. Ashis Kumar Mandal. I have maintained a CGPA of 3.85/4.00 through my second semester.
I earned my B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same university in December 2019. Driven by a passion for programming, I pursued computer science coursework alongside my electrical engineering studies, building a strong foundation across both domains.
My research spans Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with particular focus on Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models (LLMs). I am especially driven by AI in healthcare — developing interpretable, trustworthy models for clinical prediction, healthcare utilization and cost forecasting, and public-health decision-making. My interdisciplinary background in electrical engineering helps me develop novel solutions by hybridizing techniques across domains, with an emphasis on ethical research that bridges theory and practical AI applications.
